The Memphis Grizzlies signed Sam Young to a multi-year contract in a deal announced Wednesday.

Young was the 36th pick overall in June. He led Memphis to a 5-0 record in the NBA summer league in las Vegas, averaging a team-high 13.6 points and 4.2 rebounds. The 6-foot-6 guard/forward led Pittsburgh in scoring and set a single-season record in being named All-Big East.

With the deal, the Grizzlies now have signed their three draft picks. They signed No. 2 pick overall Hasheem Thabeet and DeMarre Carroll earlier this month.
